A Heart for Africa

A Second Chance

This Weekend’s Challenge

I’m a widower with two young adult children.  After losing Maddie eleven years ago, I never imagined that I’d fall in love again.  I wasn’t looking for love but I found it with the new court clerk.  We quickly became acquainted.  Then, today on her birthday, as the sun lingered over the horizon, I proposed.  I realize that I’m old enough to be her father but I can’t deny my heart or my happiness.
